I'm Not Over (You Just Yet)

Well, in spite of my absence and distraction, I have yet again been reminded of why I still belong in fandom. Example: this terrible deed which I enacted upon my friend's journal (scroll up to see the picture that prompted it). I am not responsible for any mental or emotional scarring you may incur from clicking the link.

InsaneJournal has been alright for fandom stuff, but I still like LiveJournal the best, despite its past missteps. Things have been looking up for fandom, so I may flip-flop and return here for my future fandom postings. The first order of business will be to find someplace that encourages (hell, notices) fandom poetry, since that's my main thing. However, judging by the abomination I linked above, I might not be half bad at short one-shots or drabbles.

So, anybody still reading? What the hell have you all been up to? Anything interesting I might have missed these past few months?
